Christ the King is a community of worship and a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person – questions, complexities, and all. Join us as we do God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.
Lutherans believe in the Triune God. God created and loves all of creation — the earth and the seas and all of the world’s inhabitants. We believe that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that God’s Spirit is active in the world.

Christ the King Lutheran Church is a very generous and caring community of believers in Jesus Christ, committed to equipping our members for discipleship, so we may welcome others into the family of Christ. This will be accomplished by living our values daily as individuals, collectively as a congregation and broadly in our community.
We support several ministries, share our facilities, commit ourselves to reach out to welcome newcomers, teach the faith to our children, and serve those in need in the community. We will grow together by being grounded in prayer and scriptures. We will love one another and encourage each other to use the gifts that God has given.
In 2005, Christ the King created a vision supported by three powerful mission statements and a set of core values which provided a strong foundation, with a concept of operation and structure to ensure the successful execution of our vision and mission plan.
Our Mission Statement
We gather together to worship, to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and to study the Word as we invite others to faith.
We grow together in faith by worshiping, receiving the Sacraments, praying, studying the Word, experiencing fellowship, and by serving in the congregation and the community.
We go together to serve in Jesus’ name, reaching out to all, equipping people with a faith that works in everyday life, and inviting people to join our Christian family.
Communion
Christ the King practices “open communion” every Sunday at worship. If you believe that Jesus Christ is present in the bread and wine, you are invited to the supper – please join us at our Lord’s Table.
